“What happened is some neighbors on Windermere Drive, off Highway 20, observed some people that they knew didn’t live in the neighborhood and called it in," said Maj. Keith Brooks . "When deputies responded, they saw a gate that was open and observed that the back door had been kicked in. When we were processing the scene with extra deputies out there, the suspects were spotted.

"We gave a short foot trace and got the one. We brought in the K9s and then the others popped up and took off running into Rockdale County. The dog tracked for about a mile before we called it off.”
