Snellville Police Perform K9 Demos for Safety Festival

Officers brought out their dogs to demonstrate how they stop criminals at the city's Public Safety Event on Tuesday.

Attendees at Snellville's Public Safety Night on Tuesday (Sept. 24) were able to witness many different demos, including ones with K9s and a rollover simulator.

The Snellville Police Department demonstrated how they train their canines to attack, and the Georgia Traffic Injury Prevention Institute brought a wheel-less truck to show what happens when passengers don't wear seatbelts during an accident.

Check out the K9 demo in the video above. Click here for a video on the rollover simulation.
