Suspected Killer Turns Himself In

Brandon Prasad was wanted for the murder of Jose De Manuel Alfaro.

The search for a suspected killer is now over.

Gwinnett County Police spokesperson Cpl. Jake Smith says Brandon Prasad turned himself in Wednesday evening at about 8:30 p.m.Β 

Prasad, 17 and of Lawrenceville, was wanted for the also of Lawrenceville. Alfaro was found dead late Monday evening with two gun shots to his chest.

During their search for him, police considered

Smith says Prasad was taken in to custody without incident. Prasad’s charges include one count of felony murder, one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime against a person, and one count of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
