-An Odd Kidnapping and Robbery, by a Snellville Man and three others in a Norcross Home: Gwinnett County Police arrived at a burglary call in Norcross on Feb. 24 to the home of couple with a 2-year-old child. The husband, 25, told police that a friend and three of his friends he'd never met before came over to his house that evening.

After smoking marijuana on his porch for 30 minutes, one of the unknown men stuck a gun in his face while the other three, including the friend, emptied his pockets and took his jewelry. With three of the suspects armed, they demanded that he tell them where his money is. He told them he didn't have any money, so then they demanded that he tell them of a friend they can rob. After giving out a friend's name, they forced him into their car and drove to his house. The victim told police he had two guns to his neck and his friend was laughing the whole time.

No one answered the door at his friend's home, which frustrated the suspects, so they drove back to his house to get his debit card. When they arrived, they ordered the victim to unplug his TV while they did the same to his PlayStation. His wife and daughter were home, and his wife called 911 from her upstairs bedroom. She hid it as her husband's friend asked for her cell phone (who didn't see that she had it), and she told them that she left it in a friend's car. When he went back downstairs, she redialed 911.

Her husband got the debit card and the suspects loaded the stolen items in the car. After the victim was seated in the car, one of the suspects "changed [his] mind" and told the husband to get out.

They drove off, but officers initiated a stop of the vehicle on Singleton Road in Norcross. The suspects exited their vehicle to make a run for it on foot, but officers were able to arrest three of the four suspects: Reginald Kater, 18; Harold Laster, 20; and Harry Bailey, 18. A day later, police also arrested Troy Baker, 20, of Snellville.

All are charged with kidnapping and armed robbery, among other things.
