Two More Charged in Armored Car Heists

One of the suspects is on the lam, and police are considering him armed and dangerous. Police expect to charge another person, who was an employee of Dunbar Armored.

Detectives have charges two additional suspects in a string of armored car and ATM robberies across Gwinnett County and metro Atlanta. One of the suspects charged is on the lam, police said.

Ashley Henderson, 27, who is currently in custody at the Gwinnett County Detention Center, is charged with three counts of armed robbery for the incidents in Gwinnett. Henderson, of Piedmont Circle in Atlanta, is also charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery in Gwinnett County.

Edward Thornton, 28, is charged with two counts of armed robbery, but police are still looking for him. He is considered armed and dangerous, Gwinnett County police said. Anyone with knowledge of Thornton’s whereabouts are asked to call their local police department.

Veronica Bullard, 32, of Lithia Springs, was arrested yesterday by Marietta Police in association with these robberies. Police said the woman had been an employee of Dunbar Armored. Gwinnett detectives plan to charge Bullard with at least one count of party to the crime of armed robbery, according to a press statement.

Calls to Dunbar Armored, which has a location in Norcross, Ga., were not immediately returned.

The suspects arrested yesterday, have also been charged with a third count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, according to a press statement.
