U-Haul Latest Victim in Catalytic Coverter Thefts

The thieves are still on the loose and the case is under investigation.

The day after ten catalytic converters were sawed off of work trucks behind Garmon Glass, Snellville Glass and Spence Heating and Air, the thieves and their saw made their way to the U-Haul at 2040 Scenic Highway.

The manager, Ms. Chunda Walls, realized there was a problem when her employees tried to start the trucks. She told police there was security video of the parking lot, but Snellville Police would have to request a copy on official letterhead.

The suspect(s) stole a total of seven catalytic converters off of UHaul trucks and vans. Each part is estimated to be worth $1,000.
