Video Shows Punches Thrown in Gwinnett High School Locker Room
Charges were filed against one student, according to report.
A video capturing an attack at a Gwinnett County high school was featured in a WXIA-TV report, drawing a deluge of comments on its Facebook page.
The station reported a Parkview High School student has been charged in the assault, which occurred Tuesday morning in a locker room.
The attack was captured on video and shared with WXIA by the father. It shows one boy punching another two times; the first sending the victim staggering up against lockers, the second knocking him to the floor.
The station reported the altercation started with an accusation that the victim had stolen gym shoes. Gwinnett Schools spokesperson Sloan Roach said the boy faces aggravated assault charges, the TV station reported.
