Vigil for Child Killed at Lenora Park

A vigil will be held at the site of the accident today at 8 p.m.

A vigil is planned today for little Olivia Anne Hellwig, the toddler who died Saturday in an accident at Lenora Park in Snellville, Ga.

The vigil is at 8 p.m., at , 4515 Lenora Church Road, at the site of the fatal accident near the football complex. Olivia's memorial service is 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 22, at

A memorial fund has been set up in honor of the little girl. Donations can be made to any SunTrust Bank, under Olivia Anne Hellwig.

A family spokesperson, Susan Hankins, has asked that the press and public respect the family's privacy in their time of grief and regarding the incident.

"The investigation is on-going and we are allowing the police to do their work. Please respect our privacy as we bury our loved one and begin our healing process," Hankins said.

After the little girl's fatal accident, a Facebook page in her honor sprung up, and now more than 200 people have joined as friends. In addition, Brad and Brooke Hellwig, Olivia's parents have received an outpouring of support from the community. (Brooke Hellwig is an alumna of Brookwood High School in Snellville.)

On Grayson Athletic Association's homepage, Brad Hellwig thanked the community for its support for his family, including the couple's three other children.

"My wife and I want to thank you for the love and support my family has received from all of you over the past few days," according to a statement from Olivia's father posted on the Grayson Athletic Association website.

, both Brooke Hellwig and Tekila Glass, 30, of Riverdale, the driver of the vehicle that hit Olivia, appeared to both be at fault in the child's death.

that it has learned new information regarding the accident after interviewing both Hellwig and Glass, as well as witnesses. And, that it is still trying to determine fault.

The little girl later died at Egleston Hospital in Atlanta.
