City Council Meeting April 9

Snellville City Council meets April 9, and back on the agenda is appointing an interim city manager.

Snellville City Council will meet April 9 for its first regular meeting of the month. The 7:30 p.m. meeting will be preceded by a work session at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at City Hall. You may view the full agenda documents here.

  • Work session discussion items, include: an application for a personal care home on Pharrs Road, a soccer presentation, open meeting/open records, update on Governor's Walk, Flag Day on June 11 and June 14, resolution for the community garden groundbreaking, resolution for the Snellville Post Office, and an LCI update.
  • Regular meeting items, include:
    • Ceremonial matters: Arbor Day and Parental Alienation Awareness
    • Committee/department reports: Evermore CID, Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and Urban Redevelopment Agency
    • New business: Consideration and action on: Mayor's nomination and council confirmation of: city engineering for Oak Road Passive Park, Transportation Investment Act, award of bid for janitorial services
    • Other: Council reports, mayor's report, public comment
