Facebook Page Forms to Support Justin Lansford

Family and friends have been getting news out about beloved soldier and Brookwood graduate, Justin Lansford, who recently was injured in a roadside bomb in Afghanistan.

A Facebook page has been created to support Justin Lansford, as he fights to recovery from injuries sustained during a roadside bomb in Afghanistan on April 23.

The page is entitled "Get well Justin Lansford," and after being created Thursday, more than 600 people have liked the page.Β 

On the page are updates and well-wishes for Lansford, who graduated from in 2007, and whose parents still live in the Snellville area.

Lansford has received several surgeries, including an amputation, in a hospital in Germany to help repair injuries. He was expected to arrive to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in the United States today.

However, according to the Facebook page and media accounts, he developed a life-threatening lung condition. Doctors then told the family they should make the trip to Germany, and the family is planning to arrive there this weekend.
