Get Ready for Snellville Fall Festival

The second annual Snellville Fall Festival is approaching, and applications for vendors are now available. However, the deadline is this Friday, October 7.

The festival will be held 1 p.m. - 8 p.m., October 22, on the town green, adjacent to the . 

Vendors may arts and crafts, and regular rental fees $30-$60. For a vendor application and additional information regarding policies, click here. 

The event:

There will be live music, more tha 60 arts and crafts vendors, food and much more. Again this year, there will be a children's play zone with inflatables, bungee jumping, and other activities.

In addition, hay ride wagons, will again be circling the parking lot behind . An antique car show will be a new event this year. It will be presented by the American Dream Vette Club.

Entertainment will be provided on the main stage all day and will be headlined by All in Red from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. On the second stage, popular Don Law will perform 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Contests:

Kids Costume Contest

The contest is for children age 0-12, and it is divided into six age groups. The contest starts at 2:30 p.m. on the town green. Registration is free, and can be done online. Registration closes on October 17.

Cake and Pie Contest

Because of space constraints, the first 12 people who enter the cake contest and the first 12 to enter the pie contest will beable to participate. Judging will be on taste and overall presentation.

Award One – Professional bakers will judge the award for best cake and pie at 4 p.m. The winner gets 75.00 and a plaque.

Award Two - The public judges for this People’s Choice Award. The winner gets  $35.00 and a plaque. Judging will be immediately after that for Award One.

Best Scarecrow Contest

The public may also show of their best scarecrow. If interested for a chance to win prizes, download the application form and bring your scarecrow to the festival for everyone to enjoy. Pre-register is not neccessary. The grand prize scarecrow wins $100, second prize wins $75 and third prize wins $50.
