Mayor Rescheduled to Give State of the City Address During Feb. 11 Council Meeting

Other discussion items include the sign ordinance, and ethics watchdog George Anderson is expected to issue a formal apology.

Snellville City Council will meet Feb. 11 for a regularly scheduled meeting at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall. A work session will be held at 6:30 p.m. The full notes can be found on the City's website

  • Further discussion on the Lower Johnson Lake in the Summit Chase subdivision
  • City manager's report
  • Gwinnett County sidewalk project on North Road

  • 2013 mid-year budget amendment and report by city manager Butch Sanders
  • Changes to the Snellville sign ordinance will be discussed
  • Changes to the solid waste ordinance will be discussed
  • Mayor and council will vote on approving the Snellville Tourism and Trade Association agreement for 2013
  • Digital voice logging and an archiving system for the Snellville Police department will be discussed
  • The mayor will nominate Callie Andrews, COO of Eastside Medical Center, to the Evermore Community Improvement District board
  • George Anderson will speak during public comments and is expected to issue a formal apology
