Mega Millions Jackpot at $363 Million

Drawing is tonight!

Need $363 million? Who doesn't, right? Well, Tuesday could be the day.

The Mega Millions lottery prize has been increased to $363 million, one of the highest jackpots ever.

The next drawing will be Tuesday at 11 p.m., so you can still vie for a piece. Georgia is one of 44 states and localities that participate in Mega Millions.

Here are the rules, from the Mega Millions website:

Five balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 56; one ball is drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 46. You win if the numbers on one row of your ticket match the numbers of the balls drawn on that date. There are nine ways to win a prize, from $2 to the jackpot. If no one wins the jackpot, the money is added to the jackpot for the next drawing. Overall chances of winning a prize are 1 in 40.

If you win the jackpot, there are two ways to take the prize.

Annuity option: Provides 26 annual payments. For every $1,000,000 in the jackpot, you will receive approximately $38,500 per year before taxes.

Cash option: A one-time, lump-sum payment that is equal to all the cash in the Mega Millions jackpot prize pool.
