Ray Nunley stepped down from his position of mayor last month after being diagnosed with cancer in November. City officials report that he passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013.
The city of Loganville released the following statement on the passing of Former Mayor Ray Nunley.
The City of Loganville is deeply saddened by the passing of Mayor Ray Nunley. Mayor Nunley passed away quietly today at approximately 4pm at his home. The elected officials were notified of his passing and flags were lowered to half staff in honor of a great man.
