After it was all said and done, there were separate events, but we did see new council members at the mayor's event, as well.

We loved hearing about this program, and we are glad it will be continuing this year.

November 15:

It was history in the making when Kelly Kautz was sworn in as mayor. And, it was standing room only at City Hall. We especially loved Kautz's red shoes. They were kind of poetic, if you think about Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. Despite the rough waters that befell the campaign season, for Kautz Snellville is still home. And, from what we could tell, she's super excited to be mayor of her hometown.

Despite hard times, New London Theatre wants to host a special showcase for the community. Tickets are NOT expensive, and this is a nonprofit, so going means you will be spreading cheer to a deserving organization, while receiving some, as well.

November 16:

Looking for ways to give back this holiday season, look in your own backyard. Southeast Gwinnett Cooperative Ministry could use your help.

November 17:

We're not sure that this will work. But, we are hoping that this helps bring life to Snellville Oaks shopping center.

November 18:

Can't really believe it, but yep, it's true. Brookwood will not be defending its state championship title. Sorry Broncos. OT did us in.

November 19:

If you haven't seen this movie yet, you are late. I saw it yesterday, and it was great. My favorite line: "No measure of time with you would be long enough, but we'll start with forever." Can someone please pass the tissues?
