Qualifying Period Closes Today

Qualifying for Snellville elections closes today at 4:30 p.m.

This is the last day for anyone who wants to run for public office in Snellville this year to apply.

Qualifying ends today, September 2. Interested parties may file a notice for candidacy at until from 4:30 p.m.

The offices for mayor and three City Council positions will be on the November ballot, including a special election to fill Post 4.

The mayor post requires a $180 qualifying fee; it's $120 for council posts.
