Snellville Council Meeting June 13

City Council will hold its only meeting of the month. There will not be a meeting on June 27.

Snellville City Council will meet June 13 for its only egular meeting of the month. The 7:30 p.m. meeting will be preceded by a work session at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at City Hall. You may view the full agenda documents here.

  • Work session discussion items, include: meeting schedules, Snellville Tourism and Trade Association budget, code enforcement, discussion of public works facility, LCI report, form-based zoning and sign ordinance amendments.
  • Regular meeting items, include:
    • Committee/department reports: Planning Commission, Snellville Tourism and Trade Association and Evermore CID
    • Consent agenda: Consideration and action on: an easement and maintenance agreement and budget amendments.
    • Public hearing: Consideration and action on (second reading): repealing some parts of screening and buffer requirements, and an application for an NTB in Snellville.
    • Old business: Consideration and action on (second reading): budget ordinance, uniform health regulations ordinance, special events ordinance and hotel/motel tax ordinance.
    • New business: Consideration and action on appointments to: Board of Appeals, Planning Commission, Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, Downtown Development Authority Board; consideration and action on special-use permit for outdoor alcohol; reconsideration of resurfacing and paving bid; and consideration and action on Certificate of Need for Eastside Medical Center's ambulatory surgery center.
