Snellville Council Meeting November 14

City council meets to swear in new elected officials and to decide on a mobile stage for the city, among other items.

Snellville City Council will meet November 14 for its first regular meeting of the month. The 7:30 p.m. meeting will be preceded by a work session at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at City Hall. You may view the full agenda documents here.

  • Work session discussion items, include: Solid waste ordinance; policy regarding candidate contribution reports; contract with Market Street Services, Inc.; LCI staff report; and building code.
  • Regular meeting items, include:
    • Ceremonial matters: Swearing-in of new Mayor Kelly Kautz and council members: Bobby Howard, Dave Emanuel and Diane Krause
    • Committee/department reports: Snellville Tourism and Trade Association, Evermore CID and Board of Appeals
    • Old business: Consideration and action on: Mobile stage bids
    • Public hearing: Consideration and action on: Non-residential lighting standards, text amendments to zoning for Office Professional District, and text amendments for Town Center Overlay District
    • New business: Ratification of certified election results, and consideration and action on new mayor pro tem, storm water construction change order, and Phase II bids
    • Other: Council reports, mayor's report, public comment
