State Rep. Kendrick to Speak to Speak During Legislative Town Hall Meeting

The delegation welcomes the public to come and ask questions or raise concerns.

(Editor's note: the following is a press release issued by State Rep. Dar'shun Kendrick. Kendrick represents District 93, which encompasses Lithonia, parts of unincorporated Snellville, Stone Mountain and Loganville.)

The DeKalb County House Delegation will have a Legislative Preview/Town Hall Meeting to discuss important issues and initiatives taking place under the Gold Dome this upcoming 2013 Legislative Session.

The Delegation would also like to hear your comments and concerns as they prepare to start another legislative session.

“We have some new legislators and veteran legislators that are always looking to hear from constituents about what their most pressing daily life concerns are before we start the Legislative Session and this is a perfect opportunity to do so,” said Rep. Kendrick, Secretary of the DeKalb House Delegation.

Below are the dates, times and locations of these Town Hall Meetings:

  • December 13th at 6:30 p.m. at Cross Keys High School in North DeKalb
  • January 6th at 6:00 p.m. at the Maloof Auditorium in downtown Decatur
  • January 8th at 6:30 p.m. at the Porter Sanford Center in Central DeKalb

Everyone is encouraged to attend the Legislative Update Town Hall Meetings as this will be an open forum to express concerns and ideas.

The DeKalb House Delegation is made up of Members of the Georgia House of Representatives that have any portion of their legislative district in DeKalb County.
