Video: View Snellville Council Discuss Gun Rules, Briscoe Park

Since a city council work session brought up the topic of gun regulation and a local city park in the same sentence, there's been contention and confusion.

That short brief drew a great number of comments of concern and confusion. Later, Snellville Mayor Kelly Kautz tried -- -- to clear up what she was really talking about.

Gary, how many "liberals' do you know who are opposed to abortion; opposed to same-sex marriage; prayed regularly for President George W. Bush and his family; believe that divorce is the terrible destruction of a family; attend church every Sunday; and involved as a prayer counselor at church. Be careful about throwing out pejorative terms to describe someone who simply has a different perspective than you on a particular issue, like gun control.

You are right, David. I took your stance on firearms, which is the typical liberal viewpoint, and labeled you thusly. The thoughts and actions you mention in your reply above tend to discredit the bulk of my liberal labeling of you. My apologies. The gun part still stands, though

Mayor Munchausen By Proxy Syndome: When you invent a problem where none exists so you can swoop in and look like you are saving the citizens but all you wanted to do was get media attention for yourself. Then you try to do fancy backsteps when it doesn't go as planned.
