Voters to Choose Next Commission Chair

The special election to fill the unexpired term of former Gwinnett County commission chairman Charles Bannister is Tuesday, March 15.

By tomorrow night, Gwinnett County may have a new commission chairman or chairwoman.

The special election to fill the unexpired portion of former Gwinnett County Chairman Charles Bannister’s term is scheduled for Tuesday, March 15.

Gwinnett County voters will head to the polls tomorrow to decide which of the four candidates – Charlotte Nash, Larry Gause, Will Costa and – will get the job.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. To find your polling location, visit the Georgia Secretary of State's voter information website.

The special election results will be available on Patch, the Gwinnett County website and TVgwinnett on election night. A runoff, if necessary, will be held April 12.
