Brookwood Girls Finish Third in State Track Meet

M.L. King High School and Westlake High School were first- and second-place winners respectively the Region 8-AAAAA championship

's track team place third overall in the Region 8-AAAAA state championship meet, which took place May 12-14 in Albany, Ga.

The team had 42 points overall, which placed them behind first-place finisher Martin Luther King Jr. High School from Lithonia and Atlanta's Westlake High School, which placed second.Β 

Martin Luther King Jr. High had 66 points overall, and Westlake High had 50.33 points.
