Brookwood Sending Wrestlers to State Tournament

Brookwood High School's wrestling team has four wrestlers who have qualified for the traditional state tournament this week.

The tournament takes place Feb. 14-16 in Macon, Ga., according to the Georgia High School Association. Fans may watch the match live via GHSA.tv for a nominal fee, or after the conclusion of the tournament for free.

Qualifying Brookwood Broncos: 

• Senior Drew McCorkle, 113 pounds, 47-11 record 
• Junior Thanh Nguyen, 120 pounds, 39-11 record 
• Junior Wyatt Jozwowski, 132 pounds, 47-8 record 
• Stephen Solamon, 170 pounds, 48-7 record
