Football Practice Begins at South Gwinnett High

Comets football teams are gearing up for the new season, as all players took to the field on August 1 for their first practice of the season.

The varsity team faces its first challenger Lowndes High on August 19, and there will be a pre-season scrimmage at Mill Creek High on August 12.

The varsity team finished the 2010 season at 9-3, leaving the Class AAAAA state football championship in the second round with a loss against Mill Creek.
