Gwinnett Christian Academy Moving to New Location

The school will blend traditional classroom education and online learning.

Gwinnett Christian Academy is pleased to announce that it has become a ministry of Corinth Baptist Church and is merging with Corinth Baptist Academy.

The merged schools will continue under the name Gwinnett Christian Academy and will provide education for two year olds through the 12th grade. Gwinnett Christian Academy, with grades K5 - 12, brings its 13 years of academic success along with its ACSI and SACS accreditations while Corinth Baptist Academy provides a well established program for pre-school through 2nd grade.

The 2012-2013 school year will finish up at Gwinnett Christian Academy's current location at Bethany Baptist Church, according to secretary Geri Newhouse. The 2013-2014 school year will follow the Gwinnett County Schools calendar.

Corinth Baptist Church lends its full support in making available a modern campus that fosters a superior educational atmosphere, according to a recent statement. With this strong combination, Gwinnett Christian Academy will be able to offer complete educational programs for pre-school children as young as two years old, traditional classrooms for five year old Kindergarten through 5th grade, and a blended education for students in grades 6 - 12 where both traditional classroom instruction and technology based curriculum is used.

GCA will also offer a wide variety of courses to home school students in grades 6 and above who need assistance with challenging or advanced subjects and who want to participate with other students in the social aspect of education.
Corinth Baptist Church is happy to assume the responsibility and leadership of this merger.
