Superintendent to Address Shiloh Graduates

Superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks will speak at the ceremony May 22.

Gwinnett County's superintendent is among speakers slated for the Shiloh High School graduation this week.

Since 1996, Wilbanks has served as superintendent of the Gwinnett County Public Schools, the state's largest school district.

In addition to Wilbanks, other speakers include: Dr. Robert McClure, school board member; Eric Parker, principal; Tilak Patel, valedictorian; and  Hermoon Worku, salutatorian.

The school is graduating 429 students, with 42 honor graduates.

The commencement ceremony takes place 4 p.m., May 22 at the Gwinnett Center Arena.
