Snellville Nonprofit Needs Supplies for Back-to-School Drive

Snellville nonprofit Mother's Choice is in need of back-to-school supplies for an annual giveaway.

The organization -- which has been nominated three consecutive years for recognition by the Atlanta Falcons for community work -- plans to give away more than 400 back packs full of school supplies.

The back packs have been donated by Walmart, but the organization's leader, Nichole Richardson, said she is in need of items to fill those back packs. The giveaway is expected to take place August 2-3.

"The families will be carefully chosen in advance by United Way 211 to make sure that we are targeting the families who really can use the supplies for the school year," Richardson said in an email.

If you are interested in helping, or donating supplies, contact Richardson at 678-448-2853.Β
