Snellville Teachers Selected for GCPS's Aspiring Leader Program

Five educators were picked from area schools.

Several educators in Snellville-area schools have been selected for Cohort 5 of Gwinnett County Public Schools' Aspiring Leader Program. 

The program aims to prepare emerging leaders at the teacher level for assistant principal roles through a half-year academy, according to a news release. 

A total of 75 educators were picked for the program. Here are the ones teaching at schools that feed into Snellville high schools: 

Amy R. Baker, Brookwood Elementary
Nakia Miller, Snellville Middle
Tedra Norwood, Centerville Elementary
Tonja Jackson, Partee Elementary
Martina  Luna-Liranzo, Rosebud Elementary
