Bronco Girls Advance to Final Round
Brookwood Girls to meet NW Whitfield in Deep South Championship
Brookwood High School girls basketball team heads to the championship round of the Deep South Classic tonight.
The Bronco Girls beat Woodstock 68-45 in Wednesday's semifinal round of the tournament, held at Brookwood High School in Snellville. They will now meet NW Whitfield's Lady Bruins to compete for the tournament title.
The championship game is scheduled for 6 p.m. today.

The Bronco Girls previously beat Sandy Creek 58-41 in the tournament's first round to advance to the semifinals.
The Bronco boys were not so lucky. They fell to Sandy Creek early, and then played Mountain View in the losers bracket Wednesday. Today the Broncos boys lost against Dunwoody during the noon game, for an 8th place finish.
