Double-Header at Coolray Field During 'Snellville Night'

The G-Braves defeat Charlotte on Friday, 'Snellville Night', in 2013 opener. A twin bill is scheduled for Saturday.

Delaying their 2013 opener by one day did not hurt the Gwinnett Braves' performance. The team cruised past Charlotte, 5-4, on Friday (April 5) at Coolray Field.

Snellville held a special place during the game, with Mayor Kelly Kautz throwing the first pitch and many residents in attendance for 'Snellville Night.'Β

The scheduled season opener Thursday evening was postponed due to rain and chilly temps.

Saturday, the same teams will play a double-header beginning at 5:05 p.m. at Coolray. The first 2,000 fans will receive a Brandon Beachy Bobblehead figure.
