High School Football Predictions

South Gwinnett just wants a win, baby, and will get it. Brookwood should put a hurting on Berkmar.

Every week, I pick high school football games that are played in Patch coverage areas from Cumming to Stone Mountain.

Check out this week's predictions, then let us know how you think your team will fare in the comment box below ... if you dare.

Are you ready for another round of picks?

at Archer: South Gwinnett (2-7) can play a spolier’s role in Friday's game at Archer (5-4). The only way Parkview High School can make the playoffs is if the Comets beat the Tigers Friday (Parkview also would have to win at Dacula). But don’t think John Small and the Comets come into this game thinking it wants to help a rival. Instead, with its own disappointment of not making the postseason, South just wants a win, baby. South Gwinnett 24, Archer 18.

Berkmar at : Brookwood’s bitter 14-7 loss to Grayson last week may be gone, but not entirely forgotten. The Broncos (6-3) may take it out on the Patriots (1-8), who have seen eight of nine opponents score 41 point or more on them. Make that nine of 10. Brookwood 41, Berkmar 17.

Note: Shiloh (2-8) is idle this week.
