Are you ready for another round of picks?

Berkmar at South Gwinnett: A pair of 1-5 teams square off in Snellville in a game that has more to do with pride than with postseason aspirations. South Gwinnett (1-3 in the region) has flashed moments of competitive play in virtually every game it has played. The Comets can score, for sure, but has been hurt by turnovers. Berkmar (0-4 in the region) has been outscored 188 to 15 in a four-game losing streak. The young Patriots will play hard, for sure, but has simply been outmanned so far. South Gwinnett 25, Berkmar 7.

Shiloh at Archer: The final score of Shiloh’s 42-14 loss to third-ranked Grayson last week didn’t tell the whole story — how the Generals played the Rams to 0-0 after the first quarter and was still within 21-7 at halftime. Shiloh may be 1-5 overall (1-3 in Region 8-AAAAA) but it has the ability to play with even the best team in the region. Archer (2-3, 1-2 region), a 42-0 winner over Berkmar two weeks ago, is probably better than its record, too. Shiloh 17, Archer 14.
