Are you ready for another round of picks?

at : Now that the Brookwood Broncos, winners of three straight and four of five, seem to have turned around their season after a 1-2 start you might wonder if they have what it takes to win out and claim the Region 8-AAAAA title. That will be a chore, considering Parkview and Grayson remain on the schedule, but the Broncos (4-2, 3-1) definitely are playing their best ball. Shiloh (1-6, 1-4) has shown spurts of competitive play, but that hasn’t resulted in many wins. Brookwood 32, Shiloh 17.

Dacula at : With playoff aspirations fading away, South Gwinnett (2-5. 2-3) is playing the spoiler role in Region 8-AAAAA. That makes the Comets dangerous to a team like Dacula (3-3, 3-1), which currently holds the third playoff position in the region. South, a 49-17 winner over Berkmar last week, has the tools on offense to keep this close. Dacula 30, South Gwinnett 24.
