Lady Broncos Take Home Another Region Softball Title
The victory is Brookwood's fifth straight championship win in the Region 8-AAAAAA tournament.
The Lady Broncos took home the gold Thursday (Oct. 10) as they defeated Archer 4-3 for the region title in softball.
The 2013 win is the fifth straight win for the Brookwood softball team in the Region 8-AAAAAA tournament, according to the Gwinnett Daily Post.
“This was a great battle,” Brookwood head coach Bill Batchelor told the county newspaper.
Brookwood is now in the running for the state title, which the ladies have yet to win.
