Spring Registration Open for SGAA's Baseball, Softball and Middle School Golf

Baseball and softball are available to ages 3 to 18.

Spring registration is now open for the South Gwinnett Athletic Association's baseball and softball leagues and the middle school golf league.

For baseball and softball, practice beings in early March and games end May 23. Here are the prices per age group (age as of Jan. 1): 

  • Ages 3-4 (co-ed rookie ball), $75
  • Ages 5-6, 7-8 Baseball, $100
  • Ages 5-6, 7-8 Softball, $100
  • Ages 9-18: $135
Registration includes hat, jersey, pants or shorts, and 20 raffle tickets. No concession duty is required. Kids out of the county can still register at an additional $90 cost. A $20 discount is given for each additional child in a family signing up.

Parents can register online through Feb. 19 at www.sgaasports.com. Walk-in registration dates are Feb. 6, Feb. 13 and Feb. 18 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. For more information, email tgaines@sgaasports.com or call 404-570-SGAA. 

For the middle school golf league, registration is open now through March 2 and the cost is $200. 

The format is a 4 man Lauderdale to being the season and incorporating 2 man or singles competition as the level of play increases.

League play/clinics will be held Sundays at 4 p.m. Match play will be during March, April and May. Host courses include: the Summit Chase Country Club in Snellville, Monroe's Providence Club, the Sugar Hill Golf Club, Loganville's Cedar Lake Golf and Trophy Club of Apalachee. There will be a championships and awards/cookout that will be held in June at Summit Chase Country Club.
