Jake McLaren was Snellville's fastest runner in the annual Peachtree Road Race, held Thursday, July 4, in Atlanta.

More than 55,000 runners participated in the annual 10-kilometer race down Peachtree Street.

According to results posted on the Atlanta Track Club's website, McLaren ran the race in a time of 33 minutes, 14 seconds and finished 78th overall. That was the third-fastest time among Gwinnett County runners (unofficially).
