In Pictures: Community Garden Groundbreaking

On Earth Day, Snellville citizens broke ground on the new community garden.

An idea conceived and nourished by Kurt and Gretchen Schulz, among others, is moving ahead with fanfare.

The project had its official groundbreaking over the weekend, with many city officials and residents attending.

Snellville Patch received photos today via Gail Moore, a Patch freelancer. The photos were taken by Ileen Meggison, one of the master gardeners on the garden's committee. See them attached. (Feel free to add your own photos from the event if you were there.)
