The Buford community has stepped up financially to help a family of three displaced by a house fire this week.

In less than 24 hours, friends of the Clark family had almost reached their goal of $3,000 via GoFundMe, a fundraising website that focuses on helping people fund community or personal goals. GoFundMe is a Patch partner.

Family friend Barbie Bain Holland created the page, and wrote:

"Kenneth and Donna lost everything in a house fire. They have a 15 year old daughter, Amber, and two dogs. Any donations are appreciated to try and help them get back on their feet. Thank you so much!"
