Costume Contests, Baking Pies, and Arts and Crafts: Snellville's 2013 Fall Festival is Almost Here

The fourth annual event will be on the town green Saturday.

The city of Snellville is hosting its annual Fall Festival this Saturday (Oct. 26). 

Taking place on the town green, the fourth annual event will have more than 75  craft vendors, hayrides, face painting, inflatables including a moon walk and slides, a bungee jump, space ball and festival food. 

There will be lots of entertainment and demonstrations throughout the day, too, including:  

  • A pie and cake baking contest
  • Live music from Mabu’s ARC band and EXCITE! The Party Band, who played in the city of Snellville in September for Live on the Lawn
  • Home Depot Build It Activity
  • The Clogging Connection City Center Dance will take center stage at noon and 1 p.m.
  • As part of the citywide scarecrow contest, an auction will take place with all of the contestants' works 
  • Kids and adults are encouraged to dress up for the costume contest for all ages. There also will be a canine costume contest. (Download the PDF attached to this article for online registration, which ends Oct. 25.)
  • Chopper from the Atlanta Braves will be on the grounds between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
