The Montessori School of Snellville is part of Children's Friend Learning Centers.  Children aged six weeks to 10 years attend on a full-time, part-time or drop-in basis.  The school cirriculum is based on the Montessori method which uses cues from the child to determine developmental needs and provides the child with the freedom to learn at their own pace, while gaining intelligence and growing both physically and psychologically.  The school firmly believes it is an extension of the child's home environment and welcomes visits and input from families.  The school provides transportation both to and from local schools and in  certain cases, to and from home.  The school's Pre-K program is funded by the Georgia Lottery.

I have been very happy with this school for my 4 year old son. He is learning to read well and has made a lot of friends. My older child also goes there for the after school program and she really enjoys it. They play games and have a good time. My only problem is that the snacks are not as healthy as they could be. Many days it is cookies or some other form of starch where I would prefer they get fruit.

Administration is wonderful. The director and the other staff are all very involved with the parents. Always willing to answer my questions. The facility has a cool system to check kids in and out by scanning your finger print. The food choice isn't great and you can't pack a lunch because of allergy concerns but my child seems to like. They do serve breakfast as part of the program but I just feed her at home anyway so I can't complain too much since she only really eats one meal there. We have been using this school for 2 months with no concerns and my child has learned so much! She amazed me the other day telling me some state capitols! My older children can't even do that!! My child is actually excited to go to school most days which is the biggest indicator that things are as they should be while she is there.

Horrible administration! Does not care about the children you can be out for weeks they will not call you till Money is do. They do not check IDs so anyone that knows your child's name can pick your child up. The food is horrible they call a frozen pancake and a ring of pineapple a health Breakfast ( you are not allowed to bring in outside food). The after-school program is a joke they are not doing anything nor are they paying attention to the kids so don't be surprise when your child comes home with a goose egg that the staff doesn't know where it came from. If you have a real concern the Director will not address it nor will she care. they are not profession here at all. They tell you that there are 2 or 3 teachers for 26 kids when most of the time there is only one. They don't deserve one star! feel like a horrible parent for allowing my child to go here as long as I did. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE not only is it high quality and it does even make standard care.
