Ok, well I've heard that the Salvation Army does great things. BUT, wow when it comes to their family store and the prices they want for the donated items they have received.
I thought they were there to sell and help individuals purchase pre-owned items at a fair price. I have actually seen a Goodwill price marked on the bottom of an item for $3 and the Salvation Army price would be $8., when I questioned the management, their reply was we have to make a profit. Huh??? This stuff is donated! Furniture that should be priced in the $150 range is close to $300 if not more.
WOW, I would suggest you find a thrift store or other variety store that sells pre-owned before shopping at the UPSCALE Salvation Army.
