Do you expect the world to end on Dec. 21, 2012? As the day draws near, NASA is getting in on the action. The agency created a page on its website devoted to debunking the Mayan apocalypse idea—not least because the Mayans never predicted any such thing. The date is simply the end of one time period that simply starts over. “Our planet has been getting along just fine for more than 4 billion years, and credible scientists worldwide know of no threat associated with 2012,” NASA wrote. The countdown begins today for those who believe that the Mayans had it right. That, yes, in fact, the world will end exactly one year from now -- December 21, 2012. And, for the next year, many will be gathering preparations for that final day marked on the Mayan calendar. Others are planning to spend the whole time partying. According to one news report, travel destinations in Mexico -- where the Mayans originate from -- are planning to soak up some dollars in the process. Some scenarios even show the possibility of a solar burst affecting Earth What are you going to do to prepare for the end of the Mayan calendar? We've had many predictions before, do you think this one is the real deal or just more fiction.

I think according to archaeologist every 3000 to 4000 years something big has happened to earth. can you explain the wooly mammoths that was found in Fairbanks Alaska with green grass and its stomach, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that if it still green then it was frozen very quickly.
