Funeral Arrangements Have Been Made for C. Earle Snell, 81
Services will be held on Sunday at 4 p.m.
C. Earle Snell, age 81, of Snellville, Georgia, died on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at his home. Snell was born on Oct. 23, 1931, in Gwinnett County, where he lived all of his life. He was the son of the late Edwin Richard (E.R.) Snell, Sr., and Mable Jackson Snell. After graduating from old Snellville High School he went to the North Georgia College, where he was a member of the baseball team until an injury stopped him. He later attended the Atlanta Division of the University of Georgia, now Georgia State University in Atlanta. He worked for General Motors for five years before coming back to the family business, E.R. Snell Contractor, Inc., where he retired from in 1991 as Vice President and Treasurer with over 35 years of service. …
