The holidays are a good time to remember local charities that may need your help. Today we spotlight Dream House for Medically Fragile Children.
This Lilburn-area nonprofit continues to assist children who have very critical needs, despite challenging times. This nonprofit seeks to assist children who are deemed medically fragile, and their families with educational workshops, financial help (through gift cards for food and other items), and other supportive services. Children diagnosed as medically fragile by doctors may have a chronic health conditions such as diabetes, traumatic brain injury, or cerebral palsy; be a transplant recipient and require special support; and have limited mobility due to paralysis or chronic disease.
