I'm not really one for chain restaurants, and actually I'm starting to be somewhat of a food snob. I refuse to eat at most big, sit-down chain restaurants that shall remain nameless because of generally poor service and food that's way too pedestrian. I'm not all that keen on any fast food; the smell of it is just way too much for me. (Besides, chicken nuggets aren't chicken nuggets at all. Umm, I'll grab a smoothie instead. Thanks.) And, I don't really do places that look dirty. Enter Bonefish Grill. My boyfriend (now ex, long story) took me once, and I don't even do fish. (I'm allergic to shellfish, and tend to run away from all things fishy, even people.) But, when we walked in I was pleasantly surprised. It was soooooo nicely set up. …

I like most seafood, and really like Bonefish Grill. The "Bang Bang Shrimp" are the signature appetizer. Its a lightly fried shrimp dish with a spicy asain sauce. FANTASTIC. In fact I have been known to sit at the bar with a friend or my husband and have a glass of wine, a cesar salad and the shrimp for my dinner.
