During last week's cold spell, the Gwinnett Braves' mascot, Chopper, issued a weather guarantee that temperatures on Opening Day would be warm and springlike. The groundhog has updated his forecast and now is calling for rain Thursday, but hopes skies will clear before the 7:05pm first pitch against the Charlotte Knights.
