Sheriff's Deputies Sons to Face Off at National Championship Game
The sons of two of Gwinnett's finest, one of whom is from Lawrenceville, Ga., will meet on the field as Alabama takes on Notre Dame in the BCS championship game.
The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office has a unique stake in this year’s 2013 Discover Orange Bowl, between #1 ranked Notre Dame “Fighting Irish” and #2 ranked Alabama “Crimson Tide." Two Sheriff’s Deputies, Gwinnett County Deputy Sheriff Tamara Tuitt-Bartlett and Reserve Deputy Sheriff Jerome Hubbard, have sons playing in this year’s National Championship Game. Reserve Deputy Jerome Hubbard’s son Adrian Hubbard, a Lawrenceville native and Norcross High alum, is a starting outside linebacker for the Crimson Tide. I know Gwinnett County Deputy Sheriff Tamara Tuitt-Bartlett. She is a very proud mom right now. I've heard great things about her son as well. Should be a great game.   more ›
