There are 46 county parks in Gwinnett stretching from Centerville in the south part of the county to Buford to the north -- including Shorty Howell Park in the Duluth area and George Pierce Park in nearby Suwanee. The Gwinnett Parks & Recreation department organizes a variety of activities throughout the year.
