Bones Identified as Those of Army Veteran, Snellville Resident
Bones found a year ago have now been identified as those of Jason Roark.
Human remains and skull found in Morgan County, Ga., last year have recently been identified as those of Jason Roark, a Snellville man and Army veteran, according to WSAV. Roard went missing in 2006, after serving two tours of duty in Iraq with the Special Forces. He was the only son of Terry and Ken Roark, of Dallas. In 2010, the family held a memorial service in honor of Roark. According to his family, he suffered from depression and post traumatic stress syndrome. Although he struggled with the effects of war, his family believed that his life was going in a better direction shortly before he disappeared.
