Obituary: Funeral Arrangements Have Been Made for Martena H. Williams
She will be laid to rest tomorrow, Aug. 11.
Martena H. Williams, age 77, of Jefferson, Ga., formerly of Snellville, Ga., passed away August 9, 2012. Martena graduated from Miami Jackson High School and attended the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, where she received her nursing degree. She married Glenn C. Williams and was married to him for 39 years when she lost him due to a heart attack. The family moved to Snellville with their three children in 1979. Martena owned and operated Williams Home Medical Supplies in Snellville for eleven years. She was an active member of the community until her health failed. She was a member of Annistown Road Baptist Church, working with the Doll Ministry and Egleston’s Children’s Hospital. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, …
